New member, first time posting. I joined because I wanted to ask people's opinion on ordering the steelbook from Amazon.fr. It seems that one isn't as sought after and I was wondering why because it seems most other options are limited at this point, but that one is still up for preorder since according to the Amazon page it isn't released till next month. Any reason why people are staying away from that one?

And also Amazon.fr doesn't normally use a special box for sending one steelbook. You'll probably get it in a thin A1 cardboard mailer.

I cancelled my Germany order because I didn't like the "3D" spray paint on the cover.

I didn't order the French one because (1) I did not like the yellow banner at the top, and (2) it is very expensive.

I ended up getting the Canadian Best Buy 2D SteelBook and the 3D Lenticular separately. Both separately cost less than the French one.

I think I can live with the French one if it has the yellow banner. I would just be worried about packaging and it arriving damaged.

Here be photos!

The steelbook finish is flat, without any glossy or debossing effects.
Plus, we Germans get a nice touch not availably to any other countries: printed disc labels.

I'm selling my copy of this that's coming with the car statue. I really don't like the spray painted looking 3D on it. I love 3d and have never been bothered by seeing it on various steels, but this one just looks off.

yesterday, but I live in Germany, so it always takes 1 day with DHL.

I'm mixed on the 3d being on it.

Printed discs are a bonus nowadays.

I am assuming English audio tracks are available on this one

Was able to get them to add Jupiter Ascending and The Smurfs 2 3D Steels to my order before this shipped out which was just a few hours ago.

It appears Amazon.de will be getting more of these. When you go to the product page you can select the seller as Amazon if it's not the default option, and it's allowing you to order with the availability date I think on Sept. 25. I cant read German but sept 25 is mentioned.
