They've shut most of those down, along with Unblock Us and such. I have a provider that actually does Netflix (as of yet), but no router that is able to get proper speed. The fact that I need to be able to switch the VPN off now and again complicates things, too.

For your router, you should check out DD-WRT. I use two Netgear routers, the primary router has DD-WRT installed. The router supports extreme speeds as well as OpenVPN. We are happy campers.

Even if I had the money for some DD-WRT or flash-thing, I'd still have trouble setting up two routers on the same connection. I couldn't figure it out on my own The Asus I have now is simply not powerful enough to get proper speeds on VPN.

The DD-WRT firmware is free just for the taking. ASUS has a utility that will allow updating firmware and that includes Tomato, Kong and a bunch of other images. DD-WRT is best for VPN support though. It is easier to configure and there are tutorials from the VPN service that will walk you through each step in setting up your router for VPN over OpenVPN through the DD-WRT firmware. But if you're into paying high monthly bills for cable or other service, then I suppose you can stay where you are. Thousands have made the jump to VPN and watching all the free TV they want.

I've been watching Dark Matter since its debut and I seem to recall that the producers have never addressed who exactly was in that shuttle pod at the end of "Stuff to Steal, People to Kill". But, I just don't recall any of the follow-up episodes addressing who was in that shuttle that was from that alternate universe. One of those plot holes that will never be addressed?

I don't see it as a plot hole just something that can be explorered in the future and by now immediately saying who they are free to decide that later.

As for the newest episode it would have been very clever if not for the fact that countless shows before have done it including one of my favourite SG-1 episodes 'Window of Opportunity'

Something tells me that will come to play in the season finale. My guess is it

...again it is just a wild guess.

Looks like both of our questions were answered in the recent episode.

I am sure the SG1 episode had a part in doing it. They even purposely have him use the tablet which had nothing written on it since the day started over again just like Jack and the recorder.

Well both episodes (All the Time in the World & Window of Opportunity) were written by the same people (Joseph Mallozzi & Paul Mullie) so its not hard to see why they might have a similar feel.

The first time I tried watching this show, it just didn't click with me. I tried it again on Netflix a few weeks ago and ended up binging all of season 1 and 2. I love it. I missed the start of season 3, but I've set the DVR now so hopefully they replay those episodes and I can catch up to current.

I'm currently binging this show and I'm almost done with S2. Definitely a fan. Surprised there isn't more chatter about it...

There's a severe lack of discussion about this show, as well as Killjoys and the phenomenal The Expanse. I think it might just be the lot of SyFy Channel shows. It's too bad, because I don't know if one channel has ever had three formidable space-oriented sci-fi shows running at the same time. And all three have lived to see a third season! I hope they all get at least three more.

Blood Drive and 12 Monkeys aren't bad either.

They're not SPACE sci-fi, though

Not that it makes them bad, I just don't think they belong in the same conversation. I will definitely check out both eventually, of course.

Blood Drive for some reason doesn't appeal to me at all and it isn't the first time I saw something where a car runs on blood. An episode of a kids show called My Babysitters a Vampire where a Christine like episode with a Ford Galaxie ran on blood because it was haunted by a vampire.

and FYI, Dark Matter is in season 3 now, not 2.

Thread title needs an update.

I love Dark Matter, but I know there's kind of a glut of shows on now in the summer and not everyone has something to say about this. I admit I watch Dark Matter, but rarely feel compelled to talk about it.

SyFy Cancels Dark Matter TV Series

Well, that didn't take long. SyFy, and this means NBC/Universal/Comcast has cancelled Dark Matter. There will be no Season 4:
