How many DVD's in your collection not available on Blu-ray? - Page 4 - Blu-ray Forum

Too many to list, but these two come to mind that I want to see on Blu...

The feature here says that of my 1862 DVD SKUS that 877 are upgradeable. Of course not quite everything I own on dvd has been added to my blu-ray. com collection, and there are box sets that I think are counted as 1, but contain as many as 8 tv seasons. So probably a little over 1,000 are not available if I import, if I don't then more.

My biggest hope is that some titles that are currently only available on VHS or LD might finally be released in something better, whether DVD or BD.

I sure would like to replace my DVD copies of Homeward Bound and The Mighty Ducks trilogy.

more than 50, I mean some of them I have have blurays but the blus are so expensive so I keep the dvd.

Too many to list.

When I click on the "Upgrade to Blu-ray" option in my collection, I only get 72 options.

My overall DVD collection is: 517 movies, 144 TV seasons, 277 SKUs.

Give or take about 35 titles, nearly 700 of my DVDs are not available on blu-ray anywhere in the world.

The only ones I have that I haven't seen on here yet are:

Iron Eagle (I imagine all the sequels as well).
Knights Tale (Special Extended Edition)
Mission to Mars

I know a lot of people don't like the movie, but I'm still waiting on a blu release of The Goods. I doubt it'll happen, but there were too many big names involved in the movie for me to not keep holding out at least a sliver of hope.

My biggest wants are American Splendor (one of my favourite films), Wonder Boys (ditto), Happiness, American Movie, Blow Up, Addams Family Values, and Wild Combination (The Arthur Russell doc). Would be cool to se Time Masters or Gandahar get released but it seems unlikely. Really happy Vampire Hunter D is coming this year, that used to be a top want on blu for me.

It's strange some films take so long though, like Wonder Boys. You'd think Michael Douglas, Robert Downey Jr, Tobey Maguire and Katie Holmes in one movie would be enough.

Still want Hell Night on blu. A decent Dawn of the Dead with all the extras from the Ultimate collection boxset would be nice. The Flash Gordon serials and the Superman and Batman serials

All huge hits at the time and none of them on Blu, I've been forced to download HDTV rips of missing titles and keep them on my storage hard drive. At least it's better then DVD.

The DVD has great sound, but boy is that non-anamorphic picture a giant wart.
