Let's hope they are pressured into doing the rest of the films as well!

And that Best Buy will follow suit and offer the rest in the US.

Default Unfortunate selection

This is always a divisive issue but from my perspective three of those nine choices are among the very worst Bond films : Thunderball, Diamonds Are Forever and Quantum of Solace. And a fourth selection is wasted on Skyfall which already got a double disc SteelBook!

If we're only allowed another nine, my choices would be :
Dr. No
From Russia with Love
You Only Live Twice
Live and Let Die
The Living Daylights
Tomorrow Never Dies
The World is not Enough
Die Another Day
Casino Royale

Maybe, you'd pick differently. Anyway, I sure hope we don't have to wait too long for the remaining discs.

Pre-ordered Quantum of Solace to complete the Daniel Craig steelbook set. I dig the artwork for Casino Royale so had that pre-ordered already & also have the Skyfall steel from a couple of years back.

The Daniel Craig steelbooks are really cool, especially the QOS one.

I do think they spoilt the CR steelbook by cutting off part of the silencer though.

It says on Zavvi's website they are only releasing 1000 each of QoS and Skyfall in Steel Book versions unlike CR which is 2000. Fans better move fast!

I've ordered QoS but I've got The Original Skyfall Steelbook so I'll stick with that even though it will be different but that doesn't bother me!

I'm doing exactly the same and sticking with my old Skyfall SteelBook as it has a perfectly fine, classy still on the front, and I very much doubt Zavvi's edition will include the bonus DVD copy too (or any second disc for that matter).

Ah, I'm glad I checked this thread tonight. I had no idea we were going to get the two "missing" titles. I have ordered them just now.

Count me in as one of the five people on the planet who actually likes Quantum of Solace. Yes it's flawed, it's too short, there's almost too much action for the running time and some of the editing is too frenetic.

But I really admire how they tried to do something a little different. The gunfight intercut with the opera scenes is a favourite moment. I remember seeing that in the cinema and thinking "there's something I haven't seen before."

I love the stuff near the start with Mr White where he just laughs at them.

And Olga Kurylenko is in it.

Prefer mind, this isn't a Quantum of Solace defence thread so I won't go on. I'm just happy to get this steelbook!

These are not for me: I understand the credits-based artwork... but I don't like it.

Another fan here. The film is highly flawed and I had very mixed feelings back in 2008, but I've come to love the brutal, visceral action, which I can follow perfectly now, and the opera scene is simply genius. I even like the "themed" titles on screen telling us where we are. It's best enjoyed back-to-back with Casino, which IMO remains the best 007 film in decades. I watched them both before seeing Skyfall in IMAX and there was no contest for me: Quantum's explosive, spectacular opening sequence is perhaps my favourite ever. What a rush!

And Olga Kurylenko is indeed lovely

These steels are a bit bland save for Casino and OHMSS (another favourite of mine). I've ordered those two (triple dip for Casino after the special edition digipak and Bond 50 set) to add to my original Skyfall steel and Goldeneye (killer score by Eric Serra!).

Should think about picking up a Goldfinger steel too...

United Kingdom More Bond Steelbooks

I was lucky and spotted them all early and got them all preordered, I was so happy when they also added QOS and Skyfall.

Does anyone know whether they will decide to release the rest of the Bond collection to finish it all off?

I would hate to have these then never finish the set!
