A friend of mine said he wanted an unrated cut that was even more graphic. Guess I'll break this to him...

They might put the Blu-Ray out in time to help promote X-Men: Apocalypse, possibly early May.

I have my preorder in, so that's all that matters.

We did the Thursday night viewing of this because we were going away for the weekend not because we want to see it, I'm so glad we did and I must see it again.

Day 1 buy for me, probably multiple versions depending on the extras. I just hope they find a way to get some of the promo material as extras when they release it. All the promo work on this was insane and awesome at the same time!

There might be one with alternate dialogue and one liners (the

is not on the theatrical film), plus there is a scene in one of the trailers,

Red Band Trailers had quite a few scenes that never made it to the final cut. One of them I recognized as a scene from one of the graphic novels....another was an infamous wrestling taunt (if you're a wrestling fan, you know what I'm talking about....)

That would be an incentive, but these days, few places do exclusive bonus content on discs anymore, and when they do, they're awkwardly packaged. I'm not big on alternate packaging, but if I change my mind, my preorder can be cancelled in a few clicks.

I love how the 4K version comes with a regular Blu-ray. I'm going to start buying 4K releases that come with Blu-rays in case I ever upgrade a new player and TV in the future.

This is one where I really hope they preserved some of the marketing stuff on the home video release considering all the great stuff they filmed for promo videos and trailers.

I'd hope to get the same amount of extras as Guardians of the Galaxy.
I wouldnt be surprised to see Ryan do some extra special stuff just home video.

That's a really really short window between theatrical release and home video release. It hasn't even been a full month yet since this got released in theaters.
