Ill be picking this one up! Its quite obvious Ridley Scott watched this before casting Rutger Hauer...

I usually wouldn't ask, I'd just pull the trigger (first on my Uzis, then on the Proceed to Checkout button) but I'm trying to watch my spending. I went batshit crazy in 2015 blowing money (as well as snorting blow) so I'm trying to be more financially responsible this year.

I'm buying this though based on recommendations. My recommendation to you guys is to buy some blow.

Paradise Alley is on Blu-Ray I just bought it for £7 off of Amazon.de (About $10). It also included Nighthawks and Death Race 2000 also in HD.You also get a 46 min doc on Stallone and Schwarzenegger. To be fair the picture quality is pretty good on all three films. The quality of Nighthawks in the triple set is better than the German stand alone release. It's all on one disc though.

Anyone curious about this that owns the Terror in the Aisles Documentary should watch that again as there are lots of clips from the film featured in it. Enough to give you a feel for Nighthawks at least.

All the studios need to get together for the human race and produce one singular comprehensive Sly Stallon Complete Collection Bluray Boxset. No film (Italian Stallion I'm looking at you) left out. It will be as long as a Subway footlong. Hell it'll even come with an Italian Sub! We need it. America Needs It.

There are actually more than 2 missing songs, though the others are less noticeable and lesser known than "Brown Sugar" and "I'm a Man."

If Stallone already edited it before the studio cut it down for an action piece, what chances are there for a "restored" version?

Did Europe see it w/ the pre-studio version?

I thought the original was never shown to the public.

Stallone would have to get involved w/ a restoration right?

Hauer, Wagner and Williams interviews would be cool.

Great news, can't wait. I'm glad Shout cares about original music. Hopefully they'll get there hands on Heroes (1977) and restore Carry On Wayward Son.

Placed my preorder today! One of my all-time favorites. I don't really care about the extras at this point, just happy to have the movie. Taking a chance on the soundtrack and hoping for a good blu-ray edition.
