There must of been a tons of horror movies released from 1980 to 1981 for these two years to take up one disc, compared to the eight years on the other disc. I like that the liner notes are a chronological index of the featured trailers.

The reverse will have something a little different, but I'm going to leave that for when folks get hold of their copies.

I've never seen any trailer compilations on Blu-ray, but it sounds like something I need to get into; they sound like a lot of fun. Which ones a good place to start?

I'd begin with 42nd Street Forever, as it is a diverse mixture of different genres, not just horror, and a solid overview of exploitation/grindhouse fare.

From the Garagehouse Pictures thread (photos spoilerized for those who want to view the set without knowing its contents beforehand, which will be my approach):

I couldn't find any current order-able links. They appear to have gone OOP a few years ago, though I haven't been following their status recently. Here is a list of all of the trailers that explode across the screen !!! in the first three sets. As those unfamiliar with the series can see, Umbrella truly do cover all of the genre bases.

Thanks. Hopefully Diabolik will be carrying these. If not, where would be the best site to look for these?

Looks like EZYDVD is the best option (they were the etailer linked in the Australian thread), where it would cost $56.56 US shipped for both. No word yet from Diabolik, I'll check back in with them in a couple of weeks.

I wonder if these are all new trailers or just the Drive In Deliriums 1-3 repackaged? Still buying either way, but it would be nice to know what I'm getting into.

Well, I would never buy a trailer comp without knowing what trailers are on it, that's for sure.

For me, half the fun is not knowing. It's nice to have a general idea of the periods/genres covered, but beyond that I'd rather discover and experience each little slice of vintage grindhouse ballyhoo as it appears in turn. I always try to avoid glancing at the chapter/trailer listings as I search out the 'Play All' option as well!

Their press release stated something to the effect that there were 40+ new trailers on each blu. Check back a few pages and you'll find the exact number.

Thanks to visualsynth for first pointing this out in the Garagehouse thread, but here's a photo (I had to take a shot of my actual screen, as I can't take BD screenshots on my Mac) of the evidence, regarding what's in the on-deck circle for the Trailer Trauma series:

I've also updated the OP with the two upcoming Drive-In Delirium discs. Between these and next month's (planned) release of Trailers of Fury 2, 2017 is shaping up to be quite a nice year for trailer comps on BD!

Television promos for THE NIGHT STALKER and NIGHT STRANGLER would make this worth the price of admission alone!
