The code looked like this:

<frameset rows="100%" cols="100%" frameborder="no">
<frame name="derecho" src="http://216.133.227.211">
<noframes>
<body>

<p>Esta página usa marcos, pero su explorador no los admite.</p>

</body>
</noframes>
</frameset>

I don't know what it normally looks like.

When revenue is involved, the ramifications can be serious.

actually it is a very big deal. its one thing when a person from avs would hack a fan site like blu-ray.com and write some pro-red stuff on it. however, blu-raydisc.com is the official site of the bda. it is put together by multi-billion dollar corporations. they spend lots in advertising throughout the web and now there hard earned money is being used to redirect people to their competitors website. there is big cash involved in a crime like this and big corporations have and will prosecute.

I am sure they will, but its not a big deal to me. All they did was redirect the site. It's not like they tried to install trojans or steal passwords.

That is why I consider this more of a prank than a threat.

I want to make it clear that I am not condoning it in anyway way, and I hope they catch who did it.

First you don't want to make accusations and name names of who your "think" did it, that is illegal as well. We don't know someone from avs or a red fan did this...we just assume it until they catch who did it.

this is a problem because it will create more confusion.

i can guarantee the BDA will find the person or people responsible and prosecute him/her.

This kind of actions should be documented and talked about to other people still sitting on the fence.
doing this sort of things can backfire easily, showing how desperate the HD DVD side has become

I know if I had been hesitating between the two, this kind of stupid and childish behavior would de facto put me on the Blu side.

Gee, I guess getting spanked every single week caused some unstable nutjob to finally go over the edge.

Well, I expect thelookandsoundofperfect may crash soon, cause just as their discs can't hold as much as blu, their website probably can't take as many hits as blu's.

It simply shows how pathetic the hid divd side has become. This kind of low class thing is all they have left. FUD posting campaigns have failed, firesales have failed, bribery and corporate corruption have failed. They are now the hollow people.
