This is awesome!
Glad Lionsgate is getting back into release catalog titles.

All the movies are presented in 1:33 except CHUD II, which is widescreen. It's a 2 disc set with 4 movies on each disc. Quality is somewhat shoddy and you'll notice compression issues, but it's not unbearable. It's a good value overall and I would recommend picking it up if you want to check out some of these films...

If anyone from Lionsgate monitors this thread, PLEASE make GHOULIES III: GHOULIES GO TO COLLEGE happen in a deluxe special edition for this masterpiece:

Many thanks.

All the info I needed to hear.

Definitely will pick up the set tonight.

Slaughter High (uncut), Paperhouse, Eyes of Fire, and a REAL complete edition of The Wicker Man (with all the cuts and extrs instead of just the new version) would be a dream come true!

I'll definitely be supporting these two, I love Chopping Mall and can't wait to finally see Blood Diner after hearing about it for years!

Vestron is back!!

I'm not a big horror fan, but I will be buying most or all of these to support deep catalog from majors (well, technically mini-majors) like Lionsgate, if they're starting in 2016.

Please reach into your awful hearts, and find the money you would have tried to donate to that Sarah McLachlan ASPCA ad, and spend it here, instead of on that Spicy Chicken Sandwich at Wendy's, which is where we all know it was going to go in the first place.

Slaughter High isn't very good but was one of the first real slashers I ever saw when I was just getting into horror in the mid-90s, so I have a soft spot for it. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Caroline Munro in HD!
blood diner is so bonkers and totally worth it if you are a fan of horror comedy. there

more companies like this putting out more semi-obscure 80s titles is a good thing.

Lionsgate doesn't outright own every Vestron title, in fact I don't even think they own most Vestron titles; they had a massive library.

Thankfully though, they do have tons upon tons of scary movies to pimp out for us!

So happy about this new line from Lionsgate. I'll be blind buying both announced titles for sure. Hopefully sales are strong and the Vestron line has some legs.

Like the five years it took for the Basket Case sequels?

I'm doing the same! I've never owned either film on home video but it looks like LG is willing to put some time and attention towards this line, so I can meet them half way!

They sent me an email regarding their release three years ago.

I came a little when I saw the thread titles. I'm not as excited about paying $30 for blood diner as I am about chopping mall but I will buy both on release day to support the line. Lionsgate has a crazy amount of untapped bluray potential. Must be supported.

Parts 1 & 2 are currently with Scream Factory and available in a great double feature. Part 3 would be available from Lionsgate (not sure who has part 4 these days) but with Part 4 the "Ghoulies" themselves were changed so I'd be happy just getting part 3 and calling it a day.
