All those horror films being release by Lionsgate makes me think they don't have Fright Night Part II. I get that these are all titles that used to be on VHS from Vestron, but if they were going to put out any older horror films, I would think FNII would be the first one they would do (if they had it).
Super hyped for all these releases, though.

It's been said several times across several different threads that Lionsgate doesn't likely have the film and it's back with Paramount. (this isn't intended to be a shot at you so please don't take offense.)

The story keeps changing. Paramount has TV rights, but supposedly some other studio has home video rights. There were rumors that it was now with the producer, but Cliff and Jeff from Scream Factory shot down that theory.

I hope the guy that's running the Vestron Facebook page will ask his contact for definite word whether Lionsgate has it or not.

I agree the first one is great, but the second is pretty bad.... I couldn't finish it when I tried to watch it a few weeks ago.

Well in that case, couldn't you just buy it for the first movie, ignore the second and call it good? You wouldn't be any worse off than buying Chopping Mall or Blood Diner that way.

I do not like the sequel, but I do like the original. I think I own the sequel on DVD along with 7 other horror movies. One of those 8 movie packs.

I don't have an answer to your actual question but I want to add that I too would love to see House released... according to Wikipedia, the rights should be with either Image, Arrow or Kino and if that's true I'm quite surprised it hasn't been released on Blu yet.

Why do so many retailers have it listed as Waxworks? I can maybe buy it when it's "Waxworks 1 & 2" but "Waxworks Compilation" is weird. That's like saying "Hellraisers Compilation". Or "A Nightmare on Elm Streets Compilation".
