Where was it confirmed these won't be pressed?

I don't think it's been confirmed but a big indicator is the fact that the mock-up art for the Karate Kids are missing the Blu-ray logo on the case. BD-Rs cannot come in cases with the embossed Blu-ray logo because they don't meet the format's specifications.

Pictures of the case have shown up that say "Blu-ray disc" rather than the Bluray logo (the Bluray assoc doesn't allow the use of the logo on BD-R burned media), and the Amazon item pages are saying BD-R and MOD (manufactured on demand) and this has been confirmed.
Amazon will actually be the one to burn the disc after it is ordered, it has been reported. |

Blu-ray Disc TM. Furthermore the description reads BD-50. Of course that's not any confirmation but like a stated, the Karate Kid 3 listing didn't have that...... |

That's not the blu-ray logo. That's generic text that says "Blu-Ray Disc." If you equate the two, then you're right.

I guess reading and comprehension is not your strong suit
![]() Again, I only made the observation that the karate kid 3 case was completely blue, while the body double case pic says Blu-ray Disc trademark in BLACK WRITiNG on it and the technical description states BD-50 (1) which karate kid 3 DiD NOT either. This does not prove anything but merely keeps my hopes up for the time being until someone who actually owns a copy or some review states that it is in fact a burned and not a pressed copy ![]() |

Since you can't seem to tell the difference, I'll visualize it for you: This is a Blu-ray logo: ![]() This isn't a Blu-ray logo: Blu-ray Disc™ Saying that the generic black writing with a trademark somehow a "a good sign" in no way means anything. It isn't a logo, plain and simple, and based on the simple logical equation No logo = BD-R, one can presume the Body Double is also a BD-R. Any questions? |
