I personally feel that the improvement is quite drastic. The use of HDR really boosts the colour palette, and the disc brings out every last detail possible from the source. Superior encode, higher bitrate, plus HDR. I’m glad to own it.

Bur whether or not it’s worth dropping the cash again for a double dip depends on how you feel about the movie. If you love it and would rewatch it a number of times, then yeah I recommend you buy the UHD and try to sell off your BD. But if your BD is mostly gathering dust and you aren’t crazy about the movie, hold off.

This is $16 on Amazon.ca, I don’t own it but have seen it while I was staying in a hotel. Just not sure if I’ll watch it often.

I just bought this last week, been meaning to give it a look. I saw and liked the movie WAY back at a preview screening before it was out, so hopefully it holds up.

Watching it now, looks quite nice. Nothing spectacular, but right off the bat the taillights on the car that Miles Teller is in the trunk of (not a spoiler) are bright as hell, and there's nice colors and detail once the story moves to bright and sunny Miami. Jonah Hill is a beast in this movie btw. Forgot how good he is here, even if he's basically doing another variation on Donnie from Wolf of Wall Street.

Well you sold me! I watched it once on a crappy 32” hotel room so At $16 i cant go wrong. Also picking up Watchmen for $16.

Is this out of print? I ordered the 4K when it hit $20 and it’s saying delivery date between January 29th and February 24th.

I enjoyed this. Some great HDR for the scenes in Miami. The scenes on the beach looked amazing. It's too bad that there's no Atmos.
