One Walmart had a small Halloween display. They had some Universal Classic monsters with glow in the dark slips on DVD. Only blu was Dracula. Apparently there is a whole set, along with some other on DVD at least that I could find online, like Halloween 2, Child's Play, and American Werewolf in London. Wal mart exclusive too by the way.

Some great finds at Giant Tiger the last couple of weeks in their Halloween display. Some titles have been brought back along with new ones. From memory...

All 4.99 or 6.99

9.99 -

I'm forgetting many. I've only seen Wrong Turn 2, Cape Fear, and Suck, at one store.

edit: Forgot, seen this at most stores I've visited - 6.99 but one store had the 'previously viewed' sticker on the back of one but not the others.

Another edit: The Purge and Ouija both had slipcovers.

I found the movie to be decent. For me, I'm not sure if its worth upgrading my Image disc.

Deep Discount is having a buy one get one free deal on horror titles from Olive Films. Even with currency conversion, free is free

I grabbed Killer Workout and Shock Em Dead. Came to $33.xx CAN with shipping, would be around $51 from amazon.ca.

You may have the original box set with the defective Halloween 4 disc. A friend of mine also ordered the set and received the non-corrected disc.

Look at the upc at back. If the number 80 is on the top right, then more than likely it has the defective disc.

edit: I bought the set long ago and didn't know until a couple weeks back that I had the defective disc. I followed the instructions in second link, and all is well now.

I've only seen these two in bluray. The rest were DVDs. The Dracula doesn't glow as much, it's red to begin with, but the Frankenstein is green and really lights up. I may pick up a couple of the DVDs just for the artwork.

Re-released earlier this week, the complete Kolchak: The Night Stalker series. However, it's DVD. I'm going to assume that any chance on blu-ray not in near future. I hope that assumption will be wrong.

Current conversion has it come out to $50CAD. I'm tempted, but I already bought the Fox release of the first one a while back for $10.
