Glad the BD has the original artwork.
![]() Not that I'll be getting the 4K anyway, but I still can't get over that HDR box being part of the actual cover(s) with certain studios, WB included. They don't even try to put it on there in an elegant fashion. It's plastered right there over the bottom corner of the "W". Reminds me of the ratings stickers on international releases. |

I've been meaning to get into this show. The future proof 4K release seems the way to go as the difference between the sets can be offset by selling the digital code. Although, if the blu-ray in the 4K set is a flipper then I may go with the standard BR set.

A better comparison might be to several Christopher Nolan movies that involve J. Nolan, including Prestige, Inception, Interstellar. If you like those, you will most definitely be able to get deep into Westworld. I always thought it was C. Nolan who had the brilliant ideas about showing imagery of a lost child, a dream within a dream, a toy that symbolizes a long-lost secret...but after seeing Westworld I think these themes are more attributable to J. Nolan. Really interested to see what happens in Season 2. |

To be fair, Jonathan Nolan did not contribute to Inception, at least as a writer, but I love that these brothers work together. They work great together and both are brilliant.
On topic, looking forward to the Best Buy steelbook, comes out right before my birthday and will be a nice early present |
