Thanks! The wording for the press release was confusing and of course it only showed the 4K cover art.

That price seems like a rather low starting point.

Locked in prices for both just in case, but man I wish the 4K had the same cover as the standard BD. Don't care one way or another whether it's a metal tin, but a regular case would've sufficed, personally.

Glad the BD has the original artwork.

Not that I'll be getting the 4K anyway, but I still can't get over that HDR box being part of the actual cover(s) with certain studios, WB included. They don't even try to put it on there in an elegant fashion. It's plastered right there over the bottom corner of the "W". Reminds me of the ratings stickers on international releases.

If a person is bored silly by Game Of Thrones would they still like Westworld?

Way better than GoT, honestly. Gave up on GoT a couple years ago.

Probably not. I think Westworld requires more patience from the viewer.

Wow! I like them both! Preordered each one, as I will wait for more info. Price on each was too good, and can possibly drop lower.

I've been meaning to get into this show. The future proof 4K release seems the way to go as the difference between the sets can be offset by selling the digital code. Although, if the blu-ray in the 4K set is a flipper then I may go with the standard BR set.

So there's a listing for a non-4K Best Buy Steelbook. Definitely getting that!

Just saw that, as well. It's tempting but I'm hoping to have a 4K TV by the release of this so I may have to go with the 4K version.

Here's what Best buy has on their site for their Steelbook…

I like the maze design, but kinda bummed it doesn't include 4K.

Depends on what bores you about GoT. If it's the politics, i.e., vying for power in strategic ways, you will be bored by Westworld, where there are multilayered power structures and the fun of the show is figuring out motives of different characters as their strategy becomes more apparent.

A better comparison might be to several Christopher Nolan movies that involve J. Nolan, including Prestige, Inception, Interstellar. If you like those, you will most definitely be able to get deep into Westworld.

I always thought it was C. Nolan who had the brilliant ideas about showing imagery of a lost child, a dream within a dream, a toy that symbolizes a long-lost secret...but after seeing Westworld I think these themes are more attributable to J. Nolan. Really interested to see what happens in Season 2.

To be fair, Jonathan Nolan did not contribute to Inception, at least as a writer, but I love that these brothers work together. They work great together and both are brilliant.

On topic, looking forward to the Best Buy steelbook, comes out right before my birthday and will be a nice early present

It contains a lot of expository dialogue.

...you'd love it.
