Sony Pictures has offered Keanu Reeves the role of Kraven the Hunter in the Spider-Man villain's solo spin-off movie, according to a new report. Part of the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters home to Tom Hardy's Venom and Jared Leto's Morbius, Kraven is described as a "mashup" between R-rated action-dramas Man on Fire and Logan. Should Reeves accept the offer officially put out by Sony, ending the studio's years-long hunt for its Sergei Kravinoff, it would mark the Matrix and John Wick franchise star's first superhero movie role since portraying DC's John Constantine in 2005's Constantine.

Yeah. I think Keanu Reeves' mother is British and he still couldn't pull off the British accent, let alone Russian.

Keanu Reeves is not getting any younger. If he does decide to do a Marvel movie, it's probably going to be a fun supporting role, or CGI character. Don't get me wrong, Reeves still has it in him. But these Marvel movies require you to play these characters another 10 years or so if you are one of the big Marvel A-listers anyway.

I don't know why studios want him to play comic book characters who have accents so many better people to choose from. Keanu is good for one thing montone performances.
