REBOOTS FOREVAH!!!!!

Honestly, makes sense in a lot of cases. You've got people who aren't interested anymore, or have gotten way too old, or the franchise is failing. Whatever. I follow so few of these franchises these days, it doesn't make a difference.

Though when they reboot Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman, I will cry. For days.

What do you propose they do with the Transformers franchise then? For that matter, how many reboots do you even know of?

I'm still excited for an F4 reboot provided Fox does the smart thing and learn from Sony, which just rebooted Spidey spectacularly.

Every time an actor is cast as the new Bond it is essentially a reboot. Same goes for Bats and Supes.

Looking like Transformers 5 will drop $500Mil from the last one when it is all said and done; that is absurd.
If ASM2's performance necessitated a total reboot, I can only imagine the heads rolling due to The Last Knights performance. Heads must be rolling. At least ASM only dropped 50 mil world wide between sequels. 500 million... that's... frankly it's an unbelievable drop to be honest. That goes well beyond internet word of mouth, and showcases a geniune dislike of the direction of the series after 4. Hell... 500 million is more than dislike. That's hatred.
