I do like this a lot but I think I will hold off & stick with Paul's group buy from HMV. That's 4K,3D,2D,bonus disc. Tuff decision knowing me I will end up with both.

I hope it is final. Way better than zavvi's placeholder art with what I'm assuming is a spider magnet. No matter what they go with you can't please everybody

Edit: clearly says resin magnet in the description. Definitely not a fan, especially if it's like the game of thrones magnets

I imagine there's going to be a lot of people disappointed if that isn't the final artwork. It really is nice but I find it hard to believe the final artwork would have an artists name on the cover.

Logan had Mcniven's name on the the cover. I wouldn't be that surprised but I would prefer it without the signature

It's not fan art, it's concept art. It'll probably be final, and I hope it is. It's better than nearly all the posters (but that isn't saying much, the marketing for this was trash).

It did? Didn't even notice. That was some awful artwork for Logan. Mainly the faces.

I just placed my order. And hopefully as soon as they offer in store pickup I will cancel my order and place for in store pickup. I haven't seen this in theaters yet but this will be a must blind buy for me, Any one know the audio aspects yet? I'm assuming this will come in 7.1 but what about Atmos?

I remember when a lot of people didn't think the Logan steelbook artwork was final and look how that turned out. The case here is that this looks way better and even though I'm not a fan of Iron Man on it, I still think it looks awesome.

Saw this last night, and the end of the credits claimed it was mixed for Dolby Atmos.. Here's to hoping the blu will be too.

You should just be able to edit your order to in-store pickup without canceling

Such an outcome would be similar to that of the artwork for Ghost in the Shell's standard, plastic-case releases. The place-holder artwork was simple and beautiful, but the final artwork is a photoshop catastrophe.

Usually the coverart for standard releases are just placeholders at first. The first covers for exclusives are usually the final.

How's the 3D on this? Might be seeing it in IMAX tomorrow, and I'm curious if it's worth it, as we only have two 3D showings. The rest are IMAX 2D, which I haven't seen listed for a long time.

If that is indeed the final artwork for Best Buy's steelbook, it looks like they used it from this concept art but inverted the image of Spider-Man as well as the artist's signature which can be found on the guy's IG page:

I didn't see this in IMAX 3D but the 3D wasn't bad. They could have pushed it a bit stronger as it was mostly mild to medium 3D ad a few strong 3D sequences during the action scenes. It definitely made the movie more enjoyable if you're a fan of 3D but it wasn't anything to write home about like how GOTG 2 was.
