As someone else said, it reminded me of Disturbia and Stranger Things.

I enjoyed the score as well.

Loved this movie. Definitely getting the german Blu-Ray release. I will never ever Buy or support a freakin lazy cheap BD-R release. Shame on this studio to stoop so low.

My limited "Retro Edition" German Blu-ray set arrived today, and it's friggin' beautiful.

#1451 on my back cover, so I'm still not sure how many of these were made, but it must have been over 1,000 copies.

The "VHS packaging" is almost identical to the Stranger Things - Season 1 Blu-ray set that Target sold. Same magnetic clasp and disc holders as that did, but you get far more goodies (Soundtrack CD in it's own sleeve, Poster, Booklet, Photo Cards, Button) in this set.

The Blu-ray is locked to Region B (confirmed on my multi-region player)

One of the most enjoyable movies I've seen all year. I watched it Halloween night, and I'm still thinking about it several days later.

Very disappointed to hear that the Blu-ray is a BD-R though. I had no idea and almost ordered it several times, before finally just renting it.

This was decent but imo Disturbia did it much better. I think the 80s setting is a big part of the appeal for this one but for my money Disturbia is much more satisfying.

I didn't much care for this. I admire the balls about

but otherwise it proves that the "80's throwback" fad is beginning to lose steam. The movie isn't bad, exactly, but Stranger Things did it far better, with more likable characters. I was pretty tired while watching it, which may have contributed to my lethargic reaction, but I doubt a fully-awake viewing would have yielded much more substance.

It ruins the film for me, I understand it shouldn't end [Show spoiler]when they found out about the cop but they should think of another way to continue from there.
