I don't care for the actual steelbook itself (I can live with it, but the packaging in this instance isn't something that I'd go out of my way to obtain), so my only real interest in this is if it's the theatrical cut.
I like the chances of it being the theatrical cut since the recent Warner Bros UK DVD had the theatrical cut on it and the old unrated UK BD is OOP. If it is the unrated cut I would not be surprised as it means the graphic designer of the steelbook forgot to add unrated on the cover.

Clearly a demand is there for the theatrical cut, so if D&D and D&D To ever make it on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format, hopefully for the 1st film they have an unrated or theatrical option on the disc.

I am a HUGE advocate for having as many options available to the consumer as possible. However, the unrated cut of Dumb & Dumber is probably the one and only exception where I bloody INSIST that the option be made illegal!

The Zavvi refferal code/bonus only applies if the recipient subscribes to that garbage ZBOX program.

Just tell us the runtime of the feature. All BD players have the ability to display how much time is remaining in the presentation. When we see that number, we’ll be able to determine which version it is.

Yes, so if it says 107 minutes, it's the theatrical. 113 minutes it's the unrated cut. They added about 6 minutes of extra footage to the theatrical for the unrated.

Pretty easy to see if it's the theatrical if you know the runtime between the two cuts.

Also note not to rely on the run time listed on the back cover as uk distributors often list the PAL dvd runtime on the back of Blu-rays. So according to this site:
PAL dvd uncut 110mins
PAL dvd Theatrical 102

Well it sounds like it's the unrated cut, the theatrical cut is 1hr 47m long. Am I surprised? not at all. I still am happy with the purchase but no doubt I would have preferred the theatrical cut.

I still have the old snapper DVD of D&D. So watching the theatrical cut isn't a problem even if it's not as impressive as an HD version would be.
