It'll probably be middling but it is one of the few recent trailers to make me genuinely laugh a couple times. There's a lot of people I enjoy this so maybe it'll be surprising.

The first trailer I saw looked phenomenal. I was hooked! A comedy version of Michael Douglas/David Fincher's The Game. All the characters in the trailer weren't taking the kidnapping seriously cuz they assumed it was only part of the game. "Drive safe!" Bateman says, as their friend is getting their ass kicked and kidnapped... etc

But then the following trailers after that made it look like just a regular silly hijinx comedy

I'm guessing this sucks because it hasn't been reviewed ahead of time. I liked the trailer, though.

I hate 80% of most contemporary comedies, but this one actually has the potential to be funny. I mean, I laughed a few times at the trailer. That's got to mean something, right?

Review don't normally appear for movies until 2-3 days before unless its a massive blockbuster film like Black Panther or an awards darling that previewed at festivals/etc.

Chandler doesn’t really get much to do beyond bluff and be Duct-taped, but Bateman stays busy doing his Wry Everyguy thing, a beta bro with the best dry one-liners. And McAdams, whose comedic skills have gone unsung for way too long, is dizzy fun. The whole movie is, actually, even if it pretty much evaporates on impact — a kooky, vicarious loop of Mad Libs meets Cards Against Humanity, where whoever’s holding the popcorn last wins. B+
