Yes, they confirmed they will. Code Red has a hand in this company, so all Dark Force releases that include previously released CR titles should be assumed to be the CR transfers.

According to IMDbPro, Dark Force Entertainment is owned by David DeFalco, director of CHAOS, which makes sense, since they have been heavily promoting the film. There is also a Dark Force Facebook post in which they show a picture of the CHAOS double feature blu available at Amazon, and you can see at the top of the image that the computer is logged into David DeFalco's Amazon account. Obviously, Code Red is heavily involved, perhaps even in an investment capacity. They are partnering with Dark Force on the release of OFFERINGS, sublicensing titles to Dark Force for some of their own releases, and allowing them to create Code Red magnets and whatnot. Also giving them Code Red inventory to sell at their site.

It's really sad that THE HOUSE THAT VANISHED, which has never even had a dvd release, is not getting a standalone release. I'm guessing there won't even be any extras.

I'll just wait for the standalone release of Chaos since there's no real point in me getting the double feature.

Drive-In double feature mode is the ONLY reason I am buying Chaos. I buy very few bku-ray or DVD anymore but I am a sucker for drive-in/grindhouse double features

The only point in getting the double-feature is Don't Look in the Basement! It's unfortunate that the only releases of this prime slice of atmospheric 70's Southern Gothic are awkwardly piggybacked with either some no-name hack pimping his own direct-to-video atrocity, or an opportunistic son riding his talented father's coat-tails with an equally pointless, justifiably obscure wannabe 'sequel', but hey, any release is better than none (most of the time).

I don't think Chaos was DTV, I remember an Ebert review! Agreed with everything else though.

Riding on Code Red's coattails is a great start to a label. Maybe he'll come in here and complain about only selling 150 copies.

Yeah, DON'T LOOK is the only reason I purchased this...I'm interested how it compares to the Brinkvision release, which I don't own. Anyone?

Meh, just glad it's coming at all.
I'd love a deluxe release too but there must be a reason this film never came out on DVD.
I am thrilled it's coming and am hoping for a decent print.

As for doubling it with a previously released title, I don't think it matters.
Unlikely to affect the price tag, & should not steer people off.

Anybody order from Dark Force yet? I'd love to get an early copy of Offerings but I don't know enough about these guys to place an order. Are they even legit?

It's never come out on dvd because the licensing rights for the film are a mess. It's highly unlikely the Dark Force release has been properly cleared, which is probably the reason it's being dumped on a double feature.

Thanks, just ordered Offerings. I didn't see an option to sign up for an account (unless I missed it). Nice to get this a month before it hits regular retail. I hope all future Code Red/Kino collaborations are made available early like this.
