My take is, Mondo or not, it must come with a Slip-box to match all the other Blufans! I hate when there are one-offs. Looks sh!tty on my shelf.

Unfortunately, "Mondo" usually means no slip-box since the Mondo artwork seems to be what they want to show-off, like it or not.

When Avengers was announced it was said it was Mondo art. I have no reason to believe this will be Mondo art.

I can't believe that poster art isn't used on every release. It was one of the more satisfying compositions to come down the pipe in a long time.

I am glad they did not use it so Premium retailers like BluFans can use it.

Why is everyone freaking out about the artwork?

Mondo and Kevin hasn't announced that it would be their art.

So, why the hostility? Just wait until the official announcement.

Because by the time the official announcement is out and it is confirmed Mondo, it is very unlikely to change hence expressing the downright dislike for Mondo sooner than later is always better.

I, too is hoping this will not be a Mondo collaboration.

It's a very high end release of the film that people are buying primarily for the packaging (it comes with the same discs that you can get elsewhere for a lot cheaper). OF COURSE people are going to be concerned about the artwork and discuss the possibilities until it is revealed.

I think it's more that they are going to buy the Blufans release anyway so they want the best art available for it so they don't have to buy other releases as well as the Blufans ones.

EDIT: and a premium retailer is likely to do a much better steel (embossing, gloss etc) than if Zavvi used that art on their steel.
