No they don't, their TV stuff is just more "ordinary" but from what I've seen is mostly CW-style crap, they don't hold a candle to the Marvel Netflix shows (apart from Iron Fist, which coincidentally has a lot of similarities with the standard DC TV show), Agent Carter and Agents of SHIELD.
Hell, after what they did to Constantine (I mean, they can't even use the correct pronunciation of his name it seems) I surely wouldn't trust them with Weasley Dodds (they already ****ed up his costume in his Smallville cameo). |

A good Jonah Hex movie
The Warlord Legion of Super Heroes The Spectre Batman Beyond (with either Michael Keaton or Val Kilmer as Bruce Wayne). Kilmer did a good job as Batman, he was stuck in a bad movie, give him a good script and director and he would nail this. |

Supergirl has been the biggest disappointment and I stopped watching it. The same with Arrow. I got flashbacked to death. The best one, IMO, is Gotham. I do like that one. Flash, I do enjoy, despite too many heart-to-heart talks that nearly puts me in sugar overload. They changed a lot of things in Smallville so that's just not a comparison I'd make. The Darkseid season was a travesty. |

I find that the basic concept of Gotham is basically Smallville applied to the batverse, which is such a BS concept it boggles my mind. |

This is a reductive idea of comics that leaves me baffled to no end.
Alias is a great comic series and one of the best deconstruction of the c-list fodder trope. Yes, it gets dark and often deals with very mundane plots compared to the classic "punching the superpowered bad guy until he stays down" but that's the frigging point of the comic. Hell, one of the best story arc was one in which Jessica simply had to search for a disappeared presumed teenager mutant in a country town, there was nothing superheroic about it: just a drama about coutry-town pettyness and prejudices (hell, apart from the preacher being openly racist which the catholic church here would never condone it reminded me of my town a bit). |

There's plenty of good stuff, it's only the US in which either you do superheroes/stay inside a Superhero universe or yoy might as well not exist. Quote:
Gotham premise is simply stupid, the point of Gotham City is Batman, full stop, it's even worse than Smallville in that even the supposed main hero character of that part of DC universe doesn't do much. |
