What's the point of a TV show about a guy dressed like Boba Fett if it's not gonna be Boba Fett? I get it's just Mandalorian armor. But it's like making a show called The Wookiee that looks a lot like a Chewbacca show, but it's not Chewbacca. Or a Droids show starring C-3PO and R2 look-alikes.

I wonder if they’re going for a Firefly feel to it.

Boba Fett is dead. They have the freedom to do what they want with a new character.

Hopefully this dude won't be taken out by a blind guy who just turns around.

Why would a Wookie show need to be about Chrewie? Why wou’d a droid show need to be about 3PO and R2? The show Rebels wasn’t about any of the rebels from the films.

I haven't followed any news about a Star Wars TV series since the originally-planned one years ago that Rick McCallum was involved with, so I don't know anything about what's been going on with potential series since. But seeing that image and hearing the lead character is a gunfighter, as well as it being set after Return of the Jedi, has definitely piqued my interest for this show.

I assume this will be on Disney's new streaming service, though?

If Lucas never sold to Disney alot of things from the Star Wars Universe wouldn't of got retconned and Boba Fett would still be alive.

I'm all in! That pic alone has just brought in one more Disney streaming subscriber.

Post ROTJ, gunslinger main character, f*cking awesome.
While I refuse to stream, I will definitely be handing over my hard earned credits to shell out for a BD or UHD release.

I watched S1-2 of Clone Wars, but stopped just shy of the end of S3.
Started to watch Rebels, but only got halfway through S1.

But I know I will stick to binge-watching a Live-Action SW series, especially if it is heavily serialised... If I can stick with The Walking Dead to S9, despite it’s decline over the past two seasons, I’m sure a fanboy like myself will be glued to a SW series.

Why would you refuse to stream? I have a decent size Blu and 4K collection but I still stream a bunch.

I think the metal helmet is a good idea. The last time Pascal fought his head got crushed pretty badly.

Pedro Pascal and the directors have me interested for sure. Any idea how many episodes they're shooting? Mini-series? Multiple seasons? Anything?

The showrunner is Jon Favreau and he’s not even directing one episode?
