Rush job? The director knew what he wanted in a sequel before the first one was even released. It was filmed in May, I believe, and Blumhouse movies don't film for long.

The first movie wasn't the movie I expected but I enjoyed it a lot, mostly thanks to the great central performance from Jessica Rothe. I am happy to hear that it is getting a sequel and it is going to be with us soon.

Huh this is one of the first times I've gotten a trailer from Deluxe before it's been put on Youtube. O.O It does indeed come as a required trailer for Halloween.

Do you get stuff via kencast or just hard drive? We get both but usually the drive always have the attached 2 trailers. The drives usually come out before trailers get released online.

I get just the drives. Normally my drives don't even have attached trailers. Then I get the TrailMix drives for trailers, which I've never noticed a trailer on there before it's out publicly.

Do your trailers show as KPL files on the trailer drive?

I hate when they lock trailers such a waste of my time. I remember when the last Batman trailer was locked and it wouldn’t unlock until 7pm, the same time the movie started. The cues wouldn’t trigger and movie wouldn’t auto start. Caused the projector to crash and had to do a hard reboot.

A trailer usually follows a poster. Having said that, there hasn't been any trailer for the Chucky remake yet, and we've had the poster.

Blumhouse did the same thing with Unfriended 2. It was attached to Upgrade, but didn't hit the net until after the weekend.

Which is really the way they should do it. You'd think it'd be a bonus for going to the movie, but most studios release it before.
