Only the expensive one with the list price: $29.99 and now the cheapest @ $19.99, is available for Amazon.com pre-order. The originally cheaper one, List price: $24.99, is "Currently unavailable" for an Amazon.com pre-order.

Since they took off the "multi-format" listing and just left the one that shows 3D BD on it for $20, I said screw it and went ahead and ordered it. Best Buy is showing the same listing for the same price.

Only one sku available now, so I cancelled the other one I had and re-ordered it under the correct listing and at $19.99.

Now that I'm past the pre-order date, it'll ship out tomorrow (or whenever it's received from the studio).

Glad this was delayed, I cancelled my Blu/DVD combo for 22.99 for just the 3D Blu. It's only 2 dollars but I don't need the DVD.

I don't know why this one has been so difficulty to figure out what exactly it is.

For a while, Amazon listed both version (Blu-Ray and Multi-Format) both as 2-disc sets with different MSRPs ($29.99, $24.99) and the same image. I ordered the cheaper of the two but it was cancelled. The price on the other dropped, but then the release date changed the night before it was supposed to be delivered.

My guess is that there is only 1 release: Blu-Ray 3D+2D (one disc) + DVD. Kind of like how Lionsgate does it with a single release.

I do wish I knew what was up with the release date though. BestBuy shows it as released on 1/5 but backordered.

Credibility is uncertain for Amazon.com contact reps.
Called them myself yesterday because I had both ASINs on pre-order and only received a date-change for ASIN: B0161TTG4O Which states:

We're writing about the order you placed on Date... 2015 (Order# xxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxx). Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below has changed, and we need to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date:

*"Love [Blu-ray]/[DVD] Combo"
***Estimated arrival date: January 19, 2016

The lady who's name was "Hope" stated that the Love 3D with ASIN: B015XC89P2 (the cheaper original List price choice), was such a popular 1-5-16 release that they had to re-evaluated supply for pre-orders placed.

Apparently some people with later posted pre-orders were issued cancellation emails and some others issued delay emails stating: "Not yet available. We'll e-mail you as soon as we have a delivery date…… To approve the delay, use the following link:"

Very different experiences.

I really am wondering what's going on with this. It was silently delayed just a day before release (for 2 weeks) and now pushed back 2 months.

It looks like it did release on-schedule in the UK, so I wonder what the hold-up is.

The UK release is barebones but at least the film is fully uncut, I watched it a couple of days ago.

For those that saw the film theatrically, were the 3D photographs that the lead character looks at presented in 3D or as 2D side-by-side images (as they are on the blu)? I’m assuming that’s a deliberate directorial choice but it seemed like an odd one to me…

If I remember correctly, they were 2D side-by-side images. I seem to recall thinking something similar, that it was strange not to take advantage of the 3D to show the pictures in 3D.

Is the UK edition region-free? Also, I checked Amazon.co.uk and it shows PAL versus NTSC, does that disqualify it from working on a US player?
