She was in the trailer but so briefly you can barely notice it’s her. She’s the only reason I talked myself into seeing it in theaters... I was surprised they seemed to ignore her in marketing this

Somebody spoil the ending for me. I have no intentions on seeing this but I am curious about why the ending is so controversial.

Mediocre film with some nice visuals. Does a terrible job of geography and I have no idea why it's set in the 90s. That non ending is a doozy.

It's like a EA game or a Capcom game released unfinished or incomplete, requiring DLC. Movies like that should be trashed and insulted until the producers finally respect us. A movie may be bad/horrible, but the lack of a third act / ending is insulting / unforgivable. At least give us a complete movie so we can judge it. |

2/5 I enjoyed most of it, could have went further with Miles' creepy obsession and that ending just sucked. Horror has not had a good few months in my eyes. Doctor Sleep, The Grudge, The Turning I seen in theaters and disliked something about all of them that made them 2/5 movies. Zombieland Double Tap has been the only saving grace the past 4 months

Dr Sleep is 1000 times better than Zombieland 2.

Other than that I thought it was fine and enjoyed the cinematography, Mackenzie and the creepy old house maid lady. A soft recommendation for genre fans only. Thank God for A-List! |

Yeah, Finn Wolfman is getting close to being overexposed. He’s fine for certain roles. He was a great choice for It and Stranger Things also worked out but now they’re gonna shove him in everything and anything. Hate when they do that.

The more that I think about it, the more that I dig the ending in an offbeat sort of way.
Maybe it's just because I'm still burned by the spoonfed fan service of movies like The Rise of Skywalker, but I like that this one had the tenacity to pull the rug out from under us. The ending of The Turning reminds me somewhat of the ending of Silent Hill, except nowhere near as coherent. This is a flawed movie for sure, but I like it. |
