Hell. Fricking. Yes. I'll take the much derided Batsuit montage in Batman Forever over nanotechnology any day of the week.

I think the energy harnessing suit is clever in principle, but not when you can fit the thing in a necklace as others have alluded to.
But are you cool with a magic glove that looks like a prize in a cereal box snapping half of the universe away? Sometimes you gotta let the real world principles go.

Plus no one was whining back when Star Lords mask appears and disappears and lets him breathe and that was four years ago.

Batman fought a Kryptonian to a standstill in what I'm pretty sure was a 50-60 lb suit. That made less sense to me than any of these other complaints. Didn't really bother me though, it's NOT REAL.

Every single bone in his body should have been broke. Same in JL when he slams into a cop car and dents it.

This shit is just petty nitpicking.

At least he's from a space-faring culture that generally seems to operate at Star Wars levels of technology. It's a little more jarring when it's guys on relative backwater modern-day Earth, even the comic-book version.

And speaking of energy, where's the energy coming from for Groot to do everything he does? Plants only grow so fast...

I don’t think it’s far fetched Stark did alien tech testing just like Vulture but instead of weapons used it to make suits.

As for Groot, magic beans.

Star Wars and Star Trek must really make your head spin.

Can't believe people complain about realism in superhero movies.

Aaaaaaaabsolutely not. I was not a fan of anything in Infinity War, really.

I only mentioned the nanotech because the cereal box glove is basically magic. It's all basically magic. MCU films are now completely in the realm of fantasy.

The magic is more visible than it has ever been. So while it bothered me it the past, now I'm just completely checking out.

Just because something is make believe, doesn't mean it can't get too "out there". Many people on here are unwilling to admit that.

For the discussion, the off chance they amuse me. I don't only watch things I think have a 100% chance of entertaining me. I'm an optimistic guy and I love being surprised.

Yeah.

I know when I go to a movie with a talking raccoon, Angry Tree and a guy with a magic hammer that hangs out with a guy made of rocks and one who can turn into a green rage monster I expect other aspects to be totally believable. Otherwise I get up and demand my money back.

They're movie's. One has to suspend their reality of disbelief. Same goes for films constantly defying the laws of physics. You have to believe the unbelievable.

I'm glad I never let reality/logic ruin my moviegoing experience...

You prove me point.

There is still a construct to the movie universe that must be preserved. Each universe has a specific set of rules in which it is built upon. For example, if a Jedi shows up in the MCU, it breaks that construct. Still a make believe character, but it really doesn't belong in the MCU and would feel wrong if it was there.

For many people, that same principal is applied when going from metal suits to necklace suits and beyond.

lol.

Christ sake. I shouldn’t expect any different given our past encounters on here. You’re hilariously misguided.

Suspension of disbelief and what I am talking about aren't the same thing.

"The Force" defies logic, but still makes sense within the universal rules of the Star Wars movies. But if we all of a sudden had a transformer in the movie, it would seem bizarre.

Same thing goes for some of the elements of the MCU. The story is getting to a point where some of the plot points feel as if they don't belong within the shared universe and are only being introduced to help lazy writing.

I love it when I make a great point and the person basically just gives up. Proves my point.

Not misguided. Somebody made a thread about this topic because they noticed a problem. Many people agree with his comments. I am one of them.
