Disney probably knows that can make more money by releasing TLM on blu-ray only at first and then 4K later. They will get people double dipping.

The only way I’ll be buying this again (I own the 3D diamond edition) is if this is released in 4K. I especially would like a native 4K resolution for this one since it’s not a CAPS film.

Oh and I forgot to mention this also has a Dolby Atmos mix dating back to 2013 ready to go if IMDB is to be trusted. I wonder if they only did this for the 3D re-releases or if they’ve been remixing the classics for Dolby Atmos all along.

No 4K UHD BD from a 4K or greater source (i.e. not upscaled), no sale! This was the final Disney hand-drawn, animated feature inked & painted onto celluloid and then photographed onto actual film. I want to see grain too; no digital scrubbing! The previous BD was very nice but I want a true 4K presentation. One of my favorites!

I never sent my disc in for replacement, so I'm kind of stuck here with this one even if it doesn't get a 4K release.

It's a "flower" made out of an anemone or something. It should be on the side more above her ear.

Updated OP with more current / relevant info.

It certainly is a serviceable cover, though, yes, her accessory should be on the side and not the back of her head. Seeing a recycled Ursula, so we're keeping with that tradition in a sense. We're about half and half for the sideways titles / white backgrounds now. Though, I agree that "consistent" theme applied to the majority of Target digibooks.

Looking forward to more exclusives. Hopefully, nothing as dull as the art cards Target just slapped together for the 4K Lion King.
