I don't see why it would. Sony is still producing the film, as they did with the series, and in lieu of a theatrical release Netflix must have won the bid to distribute it.

big get for netflix. cant wait to see this. im really hoping for a bunch of flashbacks that can include walter white but i wont get my hopes up.

Netflix really should be more careful they are really deep in debt. I'm interested but I really was annoyed by Jesse in the series. He was the reason why so much went wrong. Walt could have made it but somehow kept bailing him out.

I hope they can find a way to bring back Walt. I loved the ending for BB. Completely cool with Walt's ending, but his character is too amazing to not bring back if your going to do a Breaking Bad movie.

Somehow, some way, he survives and makes it out alive. He doesn't even have to have a major role in the film, but he has to be in it.

That's too bad it's going to Netflix. I always enjoy the odd feeling of watching tv characters on the big screen.

He is dead, there's no doubt... but he will most likely appear in flashbacks and stuff. There is 0% chance that Walter White will not have at least a singular scene in anything BB related.

What I meant was Sony may feel it's not profitable enough to do one if it available free on Netflix.

For the sake of awards, I wonder if it'll be considered a TV movie or a Film. Could you imagine Aaron Paul getting an Oscar nomination for Breaking Bad! That would be something. But I bet it'll be considered a TV movie or miniseries and be up for Emmys.

Before Netflix's involvement, I wonder if there were ever plans to have it be a theatrical movie? I feel like it was going to air on AMC first, but this deal just makes it so it's on Netflix first, and then AMC.
