These are so bad. I can only laugh seeing all releases get worse and worse, the more they add words to the title. Soon you won't be able to see anything but words.

Bilingual covers never really irked me until now.

The entire title box takes up nearly half of the cover's real estate. It just looks so stupid.

I can't stand those, they look horrible. I just buy the Englsh-only ones on WowHD. I don't mind paying extra money for Marvel films.

The picture I'm seeing on this website for the Canadian release for Captain Marvel is in English, can we be hopeful or no?

If you click on this site's listing for it, it takes you to the Amazon page, where they haven't yet put up their artwork for it. So I'm going to say no. Expect bilingual art on this one, same as the others

And don't even get me started on the spine - it looks like it was a France/U.S. co-production by the size of the font. I know us "purists" will never, ever, ever buy a bilingual cover, but there are way too few of us refusing to buy these graphic atrocities to actually make a dent in the profits of these companies. As long as Sally Housecoat and Joe Lunchpail exist, we are doomed to importing from the States...

I think he's talking about people commenting in threads with absolutely nothing to contribute themselves.

Pretty sure he/she is a Disney employee who’s trying to derail the discussion around bilignual covers and purposefully lead to in-fighting amongst the blu-ray collectors of Canada, therefore upsetting the purchasing power of the consumer, which could bring upon the self-reflection many of us have on what exactly we’re doing with our lives and in response, not purchasing any more blurays, and ultimately passing the power of media distribution back to Disney who will infer the decline of physical media has lead to a brighter controlled autonomous future of streaming.

Hey, but who am I to say?

Surprisingly, of all places that removed all their physical media... Walmart.ca lol

They're sloooooowly adding the new Disney and superhero titles back to their site. Unfortunately the only 4K they offer is a Star Wars title. Hopefully they keep adding more though! It's a good sign!

I wonder if disney+ in canada, when launched, will be a mess of bilingual banners and art?

Ugh, hopefully not! I think it will be in the same format as Netflix and offer a thumbnail with the title underneath. If anything, French may be an option by menu only.

I really hope the French-Canadians are relishing this newfound bilingualism and buying them in droves!
