Because studios aren’t interested in $40 million dollar movies, they only want mega budget movies or stuff based on existing material. Nothing original.

I think a big part of the hold up, if I remember the interviews correctly (questionable) was that they were both constantly working on other stuff.

I saw it this afternoon thought it was pretty decent and funny

I thought I was going to dread the film after the first 10 minutes, but the movie really starts delivering laughs consistently afterwards. This is probably the first comedy I've seen since Game Night where I've laughed this much. It did feel a little long and probably could have been a little shorter. It definitely didn't need that 2 hour run time.

That scene where the 12 year old actor imitated Rogan's laugh got me.

On a side note, they played that trailer with Mindy Kailing (Long Night?) before this film and holy crap was it bad. None of the lines were remotely funny.

I've pretty much hated every Seth Rogen film I've ever seen.

No reason to believe this one will be any different.

I can't decide if I want to see this or not. I love Charlize Theron but absolutely despise Seth Rogen.

I don't know what you despise about him, we all have our favorites and our ... well, not.

But he's great in this. He and Charlize are an excellent pairing. Believe it or not.

Truly! Even if I didn't like Rogen, I'd still have loved this movie

Such a funny movie. I laughed so many times, and as I said this isn't really my sort of movie in general. But I thought it was just so much fun. And it was very warm-hearted, too.
