Confucius says powerful mouse have done lazy uprez of BD/3D master with HDR/Dolby Vision. Going by that, I say it's very unlikely since Mermaid still has the new logo carried over from the DE.

They will use the newer 2k cinema files and uprez those. They're not going back to the pre-renders and re-do them in 4k. They already did them in 2k.


The colors will be better, for one. It's just how they decide to grade them for HDR.



Dolby Atmos? Well... it could be either Atmouse like Cars 3 or superior like Blade Runner 2049 or Gravity, or something in the middle like Ralph Breaks the Internet.

I personally think DMC5 has the best looking Dante (face model wise because DMC2 has the best outfit) and I've been a fan since the original release on PS2 back in 2001.

I'm just joking about the main reason why rereleases tend to have different art. Most people will scan shelves in stores and just ignore the stuff they know they already have by the art. Even if it is a new format or a remaster.
