while I am sure this movie has its fans, how many people would pay $25 dollars for this? Aren't there more popular Paramount titles they can release?

My main gripe with the cover is it looks nothing like Zowie from the film. Otherwise I like how these covers are in the same vein as the original novel.

On a different yet similar note, I just got called an idiot on Screams post for this film cause I said the cover was reminiscent of the first one. The guy also said it’s supposed to be a cat not a dog. I should’ve just left it but I enjoyed my mini-essay tangent in response haha. Normally don’t respond to people like that but hey it happens.

Just to clarify my opinion, not that it matters haha, I don't like how Zowie looks like a werewolf, should look more like the damn dog! Otherwise, I am a fan of the concept, but disappointed in the execution.

Will definitely be buying though, especially since the director is heavily involved! And while Paramount doesn't seem to allow new scans, it appears what they have been providing Scream thus far has been high quality.

Me, and without blinking. It's long been a favorite of mine that I've seen many, many times. I greatly prefer it to the first movie.

Cover art doesn't matter much to me. I wonder what the transfer will be like? Pet Sematary II has a cult following but is regarded as a poor sequel to the first one. Given that, I predict Shout would use whatever HD master Paramount has on hand since it may not gather enough POs and sell enough to justify the costs of a new scan. If we do happen to get one like with MBV, then that's icing on the cake.

I'm definitely in for this, but don't care much for the new art so I won't be pre-ordering as I don't want a poster of that. I figure the posters are worth the few extra bucks to pre-order from Scream on titles I like the new art for, or if there's a NECA figure I have to have. Had to get Silent Night of the Demons and Creeps, still debating Sorority House figure though.
