Not sure. They are not a match for OLED or projectors but the image is still HD. The next gen ones should be able to display Blu-ray 3D like for like.

One of the benefits of the headset is the complete lack of crosstalk. Pop outs look incredible too because they are so close to your eyes. You have three different screen sizes but I settle on the middle one. I would say it’s the equivalent of a 80 inch screen. The biggest setting is the equivalent of a 200 inch screen.

Shame I cant try it. I had both the PSVR and an HTC Vive but VR at the time just felt like too much hassle. The Oculus Quest is a lot more interesting to me being standalone so if I get that I'll have to put Part 3 on and test it.

I don’t mind the hassle, the immersion is worth it. Besides, I have it set up so I only need to plug the headset in, I have the wires connected neatly.

I take it that the extras disc is missing from this set that the US got? If it is that disc contained some extras from the first eight movies.

The bonus disc was only in the 10 disc Complete Collection Tin Case, which was actually the Killer Extras dvd from the older Crystal Lake to Manhattan dvd box set.

Each movie disc still has some extra features though, like commentary tracks ect, so this set isn't totally bare bones.

It's actually pretty well served for extras on all 8 films.

Before I order the U.K. version, I am Waiting for confirmation that it definitely includes the 3D version that exists on the US boxset.

Look in the 3D section there's a fan made version going around that actually really good.

With all the extras on the current blu-rays, plus the Crystal Lake Memories doc, honestly, these films don't need any more special features. There's nothing you can tell me about the Friday the 13th series that I don't already know.

In regards to the first 8 films, if you own the Crystal Lake to Manhattan DVD box set plus the blu-rays, you have all the features that Paramount ever created for these films. Crystal Lake Memories is just the icing on the cake.

The annoying thing was the digital copy of Jason Goes to Hell, that comes with the 10 disc set, is the unrated version.

I doubt it. I presumne it's just a repackage on the Euro release of the disc which omitted the 3D version.

Did the euro release have the same extras as the US version?

apart from the 3D version, I think the only differences between the US and Euro releases was the Lost Tales from Camp Blood features. Because the first film was WB, I think all three parts were included across F13 parts 2 and 3 discs.
