Could they make an extended cut with the tv/deleted scenes?, if not preferably they include the complete deleted scene of the goonies in that store that was shortened on the dvd/bluray, also corey feldman's line undubbed. I wonder if The Lost Boys is coming soon too on a new bluray/4k, not 2 years from now for it 35th anniversary

I definitely think Beetlejuice is in the bag for this year. Lost Boys is a wait and see. But it appears indeed the studios are stepping up with back catalogue support with Microsoft and Sony launching next gen systems.

I don't see why they won't do a 35th HD Blu-ray stand alone as well.

I really hope they scan the octopus and convenience store deleted scenes in 4K and not just re-use the old SD versions of those scenes from the DVD.

Pure fun nostalgia. Not really sure how much better this will honestly look over the blu-ray. If they don't do a new atmos not sure how this will be much different. Will get but asking how this will be an upgrade. rhetorical of course.
