No, Prisoner of Azkaban was not shot in 3D and has not been converted yet.

Just finished watchig Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in 3D. Great conversion with some excellent popouts ( some of the kids even went "ooo" when the Cribbage ball popped out of the screen). Also excellent depth in the wider shots. The best thing of all was the excellent crowd (with Covid limitations). Lots of young kids who of course would not have been born when the movie first came out.

That would be awesome, but as of now, Random Space Media does not have distribution rights to Warner Bros. films.

WB releases their own 3D BDs. Obviously, they see no market for a 3D re-release in the USA for a movie series as pedestrian as the Harry Potter films. After all, no one liked those films here.

Surely it must be just you. There are plenty of Harry Potter fans in the USA who are welcome to experience this film again at the cinemas, this time in 3D. WB might re-release this in the USA and everywhere else on or before November based on the response in some countries like Australia recently.

Is your name Sheldon? You're not very good at sarcasm (note the rolled eyes above).

In the UK at least, there are now showings appearing in all cinema chains for 29th/30th October (20th Anniversary) but no 3D showings. Is that the case elsewhere in the uk and wider-world?

Pretty sure I saw anniversary screenings (non-3D) here in the US recently.

Big Surpise!

3D Anniversary Screening in Germany.
I´ll search a cinema to see this movie in 3D.
Maybe we have luck and a 3D Blu-Ray will be announced later.

https://www.areadvd.de/news/harry-po...rsion-im-kino/

I found a 3D screening with the opportunity to book the tickets:

That's great to hear! Do let us know your thoughts on the 3D when you get to see it. Hoping for a 3D Blu-ray release as well.

That's good! I enjoyed watching part 7-1 and 7-2 in 3D recently after watching the first 6 movies on UHD.

Did you notice 7-1 doesn't have pop-outs, but 7-2 does? I want 7-1 redone along with converting the rest to 3D.

7.1 it's probably the worst 3D I've seen on a Blu-ray. It was going to be released in 3D in theaters back in 2010, but it was cancelled due to crappy conversion. I hope it gets a new conversion before an eventual re-release in theaters, 3D conversion has evolved a lot since early 2010s.

I remember liking 7.2 in theaters, but considering it only mildly good in the Blu-ray.

Currently playing at "Legend Cinemas" (Cambodia) in 3D, according to their website.
Also, is this listing new? Could HP 1 be released on Blu-ray 3D in the near future?

No. That site has invented countless 3D releases based purely on wishful thinking, if you see something listed there and nowhere else, it's guaranteed to be garbage.
