Same. Ive probably see bits & pieces on tv over the years, but the UHD is the first time watching it whole.

I watched it a lot growing up, but as an SLP VHS. Obviously the UHD is quite the jump. It was maybe the title that pushed me into pulling the trigger on the set, even though I was interested in all of them. This is the only one I had any personal nostalgia for.

I caught it on the MLB network not long ago. The movie has aged rather well. I plan on getting this at some point.

Well, piss on waiting for Sony to announce an individual release. I ordered a copy on ebay that someone is offloading from their set.

In the 80s I was dating Geena Davis, she just wasn’t aware of it.

She’s still almost my favorite actor. ..

Watch the recent season of GLOW on Netflix & you will see Geena Davis still looks good.

anyone want to sell me their blu ray disc from the 4k set if there is one? the review here says there is a new 4k remaster bd included with the 4k. I see now that it is from the columbia 4k set which makes it quite confusing.

Just catching up with watching this gem in 4K. Never seen it on Blu-ray only cable tv, so I can't compare but this looked nice in 4K.

This is one of only three films guaranteed to make me cry every time I see it, & it was such a pleasant surprise to see how good the transfer on 4K was (that scene where the girls first walk out onto the try-out field, the greenery is staggering).

It’s one of those movies I enjoyed as a kid that reveals so much more of itself to you as you get older, ala Stand By Me or City Slickers.
