I don't know how many copies of the blu-ray deep discount has in stock right now, but I just snagged a copy of Radio Flyer over there, so some retailers are finally getting this in stock.

The wait on Amazon was driving me nuts.

This is an underrated gem that should have been released a long time ago. I have vague memories of it from watching it back in the 90's when I was a teenager, but remember it being an excellent drama.

On Amazon it's $33.60 after shipping & handling and tax? I'm not cheap, but I cannot do that on principle.

Really? I've checked the last three days there and it says "Sold Out".

Wow, they must've really released this title with miniscule inventory. Or maybe it really is COVID-19 related. They started production and at some point it got halted like almost everything else. Instead of waiting until they reached the pre-planned quantity, they just released whatever stock they had on hand. Maybe production is ramping up again. Who knows at this point I guess.

My Target order just changed to "Preparing To Ship", so they're slowly trickling out.

Yeah, I randomly checked last weekend and it was available to order so I jumped on that and the new release of My Girl.
Only extra on Radio Flyer is a theatrical trailer.

Well, the good news is that the Target.com alert I set up to alert me when Radio Flyer comes in stock triggered like an hour after I signed up. I did a chat through their site to see could "reinstate" my canceled copy for the B2G1 price, but they couldn't. Not knowing how long it would stay in stock for, I just went ahead and ordered it. At least now I'll have it.

Going by the review, it looks like a recent 4k remaster as there's fine detail and lack of EE and other processing nasties. Unfortunately, Sony fell flat on their face once again with compression, as the grain in bright shots looks like blocky mush. Not the worst I've seen, aside from their recent Blu of Look Who's Talking, but I guess the focus on streaming and such really ratchets down the overall effort and quality they once had on discs.
