got my dispatched email today as well so looks like my problem took care of itself

i get where people are coming from on the cult thing, and i feel for ya and have no problem with them focusing more on cult films. I'm just more personally here because the steelbooks have looked great

I'm a little underwhelmed with the steelbook to be honest. It could have been better:

Films we are likely to see:- The Matrix, various Batman and/or DC films, nothing before the 1980s, Christopher Nolan films, A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Harry Potter (collection, maybe?), 300, I Am Legend, Watchmen (yes another one!!), Pacific Rim

Films I'd like to see:- The Postman, The Neverending Story, Battlefield Earth (never gonna happen), Interview with the Vampire, The Polar Express, The Book of Eli, Sucker Punch
I thought that too, but #5 is MGM! Who knows what we'll see next.

Nope 2001 with Warner Bros for a while now, last two steel books had WB logo on them:-

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/2001-...lu-ray/224399/

EDIT: Looks like MGM are the production studio (obviously) but MGM no longer distribute their own films and sold rights/co-distribute with other companies. In this case Warner Bros are the distributor for this MGM film. So yeah an MGM film but still one WB holds the rights to.....

You're right!! I just looked at my copy. I forgot about MGM rights being sold and it's not on the 2001 page on wikipedia!

not a lot to go on from the pic but looks like it'll be unique, eager to see more.

Still no sign of my ToC Wonder Woman edition. The delivery window was through yesterday. I'm sure there are shipping delays everywhere still but I hope this shows up soon.

From Zavvi to the USA? Yeah, I presume so. I’m still waiting on a steelbook that’s now 11 days overdue. I’m probably going to give it another week before I contact Zavvi. Other Zavvi steelbooks having been showing up at my USA address about a week after the stated delivery window.

Yeah, I'm certainly not complaining with all that's going on. It would be nice though if Zavvi could provide tracking instead of a window of delivery. No big deal but if they did that we could just follow the progress and not go by some arbitrary window that never seems to be correct

I got my Wonder Woman Today, I thought I would have to wait a month for it. But it was surprisingly fast. But they bubble mailer they are using is really thin. mine was fine as far as I could tell. I hope yours arrive intact

Same, I waited around a week after the delivery date and sent in a request. Still waiting to hear back.

I agree. Curiously, I bought an Empire Strikes Back T-shirt with my Empire Strikes Back Zavvi steelbook because of the package deal they had, and the T-shirt (which cost less than a third of what the steelbook cost) was shipped with tracking, but the steelbooks aren’t. It’s hard to complain when shipping is free (on us.zavvi.com), but it would be nice to have tracking and would clarify when a steelbook is lost versus just delayed.

WBshop just charged my pre-order for the Mad Max set. I thought it was due out the 29th so this seems a little early to be charging for it 2 weeks ahead, unless there has been a release date change I have missed?

I received my copy about a week ago. Was happy that it arrived safely considering it’s a Pet slip in a bubble mailer.
