I have the imports, but I would consider upgrading depending on the scans and the quality of the extras, especially the Helen Slater interview.

After the BTTF trilogy his best movie is Doc Hollywood. To me-TSOMS is next.

Yes, and model/actress Tatjana Patitz is shown after Cindy.

I quite enjoyed Greedy and The Frighteners

hated For Love or Money , it could have been much awesome if it focused more on the behind the scenes hotel antics instead it turned in by the book rom-com

I did see The Frighteners in theaters(don't remember much about it) and greedy have seen bits and pieces. I do agree about FLOM-The stuff with the hotel is interesting-the rom com stuff not so much. I like the scene with the tickets in the park the best.

I actually put The Frighteners on the top of my Netflix Queue and should have it in a day or 2. As for Olivia D'abo and Nancy Travis' looks-they are both attractive women from head to toe. The only reason I watched it at all was because of them-didn't like the premise of the movie.

Wow! I never thought I'd ever see a blu-ray release for The Hard Way. I always thought that it would happen maybe when my @$$hole learns to chew gum.

Since there's no note of a remaster AFAIK its likely the existing scan which Koch used in Germany (and Universal released elsewhere) and looked excellent. Much better than The Hard Way which is okay but clearly from an older scan.

I blind-bought Doc Hollywood and was quite let down. It's a boring movie IMHO.

My faves are TSOMS, which I could watch every day, and Greedy, which is absolutely hysterical with a fantastic cast.

Too bad Frighteners was rated R back then. They should have went with a PG-13 rating and then release the unrated cut later. I would have loved to seen it in theaters as a kid. It feels like it should be a PG-13 movie.

My brother and I saw The Frighteners in the theatre in the summer of '96 and we both loved it. I've remained a big fan ever since. I actually just watched the director's cut blu ray the other day.
