BBY’s website said it is unavailable at my local store so I just ordered for shipping. Says it will be here Thursday. Hopefully undamaged.

Are the other areas rural or maybe lower income areas. Because I can't see lower income people running to pay 30$ for a 4k movie, even tho lower income areas stock tons of dvds and sell a lot more physical media in general. They probably all get the same stock but keep in mind where you are and how fast it's most likey to sell out based on that. My steel is ready now. Just crossing my fingers it's in primo condition

They're selling out but This AM Rochester, Syracuse, Erie and everywhere in between had stock for in store. Zero in 4 Buffalo stores. In any event, I have one being shipped and one for pickup that I will send my brother for a couple hours away.

Picked up the last steel at my local BB, and it's minty fresh!

Both local (Fresno, Ca.) stores said unavailable on the BB site. I NEVER order SBs because of the headaches with all the damage/returns. Apparently the sun shines on every dog's ass once in a while because there was one copy on the new release shelf of the second store I checked.............and it's MINT. I wasn't all that excited for this SB because the artwork didn't seem that great but it looks much, much better in person. Thankfully I didn't have to settle for the standard version, the artwork on the slip is terrible.

Just picked up mine. Every steelbook was sold out right next to the standard release. Goodfellas, hocus pocus, home alone, and FMJ

Got my online Best Buy pre-order in, one minor dent at the top beneath the card and the 4K disc was loose inside. Hopefully the disc works, I've had bad luck with scratched 4K discs.

I ordered 2 in case of damage.

Ironic that the one from the store was in slightly worse shape than the shipped one (store one had a couple of marks on the spine and a scratched 4k disc). The one shipped in a flimsy bubble mailer arrived mint - disc was fine as well.

Just never know with these!

Went to my local today and neither release was actually on the shelves. There was a cart with a few dozen titles on it, but no FMJ.

I didn’t even see a price tag for it on the new release shelf.

I asked an employee to check the back for a copy of the slipcover version and he came back with a copy of the steenbok, saying he couldn’t find the standard.

So I went with the steenbok by default.

...even though I didn’t think it looked any better in person.

Well this might be a first. They put my copy in a small bubble mailer, and then sent that in a larger bubble mailer.

Packaging tends to be more varied when stores are doing it instead of the warehouses.

On the down side, spine slash.

For some reason Best Buy is making it seem like stock is low on this. I did in store pickup and this morning it says 1 available, checked again 2 available, now 1 available again. I didn't see any stock on the floor either. When I bought mine it still said 1 available and it's been saying that for awhile now despite saying 1 available when I purchased it if that makes any sense.

Nice steelbook and amazing movie. If only we could get an Eyes Wide Shut UHD.

This is what I saw at my best buy. Next to the standard release would be where the steelbook would be

Looking at the spine is just baffling.

Of all the color combinations they could’ve used...orange on blue?

Orange...on BLUE?

...I need an explanation.

My Wizard of Oz steel came with no disc, i took it into the store and they were sold out so they took a disc out of a standard edition for me, you may be able to do the same for the digital copy, worth a shot.

Go here and fill out the customer care form. They might want a receipt but you will have better luck.

Like a couple of you I also had a loose disc. Other than that it was in prestine condition. Can't wait to watch!

That's what I have done. Thanks though.

Spiral out! (assuming your ID is a Tool reference).
