That's random.
I was exceptionally disappointed by it, the trailer made it look like some sort of Problem Child style physical comedy with a nasty little brat kicking the crap out of adults for the entire duration. Turns out they showed literally every funny bit in the entire film in that trailer, and the rest of it was the sappiest shit I ever saw. It's been nearly 30 years and I still want my 90 minutes back.

I don’t think there’s really any movies which I hate so much that I wish they hadn’t been made. Closest would probably be the Disney remakes (thinking especially of the horrid Beauty and the Beast remake), and maybe the Star Wars sequels (even though I did really like TLJ - but without the current sequel trilogy, there might still be a chance of a proper continuation which isn’t just a reset of everything to the original trilogy).

I agree anything with Jonah Hill and Seth Rogen should be gone. When comes to Adam Sandler, I will defend The Wedding singer, The Waterboy, and the Hotel Transylvania movies. Other then those yeah, get rid of them.

I'll never understand the hatred for the 3rd movie of a (then) trilogy that perfectly wraps up the story on aliens in the only sane way it could, forcing a fourth movie to use comic book style resurrection to continue on. It's nearly perfect!

Well, if anything, a thread like this just clearly demonstrates the subjectivity of it all (which should be obvious, anyway).

I've seen some titles popping up on some people's lists in this thread that are among my favorite films of all time, and that I find utterly shocking to be on ANYONE'S list of films they'd throw in the trash. But then, some people I agree with here, and then see the other people also so utterly shocked that anyone would think that way.

For EVERY film, there is someone, somewhere, who thinks it's the best movie ever made. And vice versa. No matter how popular, no matter how acclaimed, there is someone who hates it.

Perfectly wraps up the Aliens story?!

It purposefully takes a huge dump on it. The whole freaking point of Aliens was Ripley reclaiming her life and rescuing Newt as a surrogate for her own lost daughter.

There's absolutely no reason the script had to start off with Newt and Hicks dying except as a middle finger to the previous movie.

That's how I feel about Terminator Dark Fate.

It doesn't perfectly wrap up the story at all of what T1 & T2 set up, despite advertising itself as a sequel to T2.

It purposefully takes a huge dump on T1 & T2. The whole freaking point of Terminator was Sarah training John to be a leader in order for the future events to take place.

There's absolutely no reason the script had to start off with John Connor being killed, except as a middle finger to the previous movie(s).

I understand the pain people have with Alien 3 in that case.

I have a problem with The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. It's like part of the big story but I just cannot stand a (lengthy) movie-long battle scene. The first two are ok in their own way.

Well Cameren gave you your happy ending and you can stop there or have sequels where Ripley endlessly screws up to allow other sequels. Alien 3 showed the hopelessness of the situation and took out the remaining aliens...end of story. And all stories should end.

Human Centipede stories (I'm sure this has been mentioned numerous times)
Salo
Clockwork Orange
X-Men: The Last Stand
Lawnmower Man 2
Instant Family

and of course....

A Christmas Story. (I'll get hate I'm sure but it really is a wretched movie).

If they all went away, I kind of feel like not much of value would be lost.
You know, this is one perspective I can actually respect. Rather than those who post negativity about MCU, you at least have a reasonable explanation.

You could say Muhammad Ali ruined a generation of boxers but then we wouldn't have had the greatest.

Who takes the blame for all the other Action, Thriller, Comedy, Horror, etc that tried and failed to copy other movies?

Who takes the blame for the 1000's of Night of the Living Dead clones?
