Me too. They've made a couple of my favorite movies and shorts. Father's Day & The Editor are among my all-time favorite flicks.

Also, since you dig Astron-6, you might also like the films made by Ryan Nicholson.

It seems that they still work together sporadically so there's still that Astron-6 "charm" to the films through everything they work on, even solo. I really like that aspect of their film making ventures.

You're gonna' love Psycho Goreman !

Is this going to be showing up in Walmart or Best Buy? Debating on ordering it online or just going on the hunt tomorrow.

I'm not sure about your area, but around here almost nothing new has been showing up in any store. Walmart and Target have been the worst but it's also spread to my local Best Buy. It's to the point where I HAVE to order online if I want a title...

My Best Buy is a disorganized mess at this point. They removed one of the movie racks so it way more limited however I always find the new stuff either sitting on a cart or in a box near the movies. Without fail. Plus I've got a bunch of Walmarts around here that still stock the new releases. So if this bad boy is coming to shelves I can find it.

Got my copy in and it comes with reversible art which I really like. It's the one from the Canadian edition I believe, but it's great piece of art.

From Raven Banner's twitter (regarding the Hunky Boy Edition):

Good News/Bad News. The good news is the packaging and trading cards are done and they look amazing! The bad news is there is a North American shortage of polycarbonate plastics.

The plastic used to manufacture Blu-ray discs is the same kind used to make syringes... Go figure... yet another way C19 is messing with us! We've been told by our duplication company that we're a week or two behind as a result.

As soon as we hear that the discs are in production we will let you know. Our sincerest apologies for this, but sadly it is completely out of our control.

This movie features 4 of the 5 guys from Astron-6. So it's not out of the realm of possibility for them all to get back together for something.
More Divorced Dad perhaps?

Well, it's good to know that at least the packaging is done and ready to ship. Planning a movie night with a bunch of friends who I know will get a kick out of it.

Was hoping to be able to find a copy at my local Best Buy, Wal-Mart, or Target, but that's not going to happen. Online shopping it is then!

Oh yeah, I knew it was the American release, but I didn't know it would have that cool artwork on the reverse. I thought that was for only the Canadian version.

Considering that I opted to have my copy shipped with Perdita Durango & Day of the Beast, I might get lucky and this may not affect the date I receive them

The impression that I get is that any work they do together in the future will be the rest of the gang assisting Kostanski on his projects, and while that's pretty cool and I still look forward to anything they do, it won't capture the particular Astron-6 magic that I love so much, because, with the exception of Manborg, the creative minds behind their earlier works were Adam, Matt, & Connor.

It always seemed like Adam, Matt & Connor doing their thing with Steve and Jeremy helping out behind the scenes. Then when S&J (or in this case with PG, Steve only) the rest of the guys help out, usually acting in the movie.

I do hope they get together for something despite the "disbanding".

Me too. Adam, Matt, & Connor definitely have a special kind of creativity that really appeals to me. I've liked the stuff from Kostanski & Gillespie, but nowhere near as much as the stuff from Adam, Matt, & Connor. I will say that I liked Psycho Goreman a lot more than I did The Void. I liked The Void, but I think I would've liked it a lot more if my expectations hadn't been set by Father's Day, The Editor, and their shorts.

Watched my copy last night. Didn't even realize it came with a fake brochure with some pretty nifty fake products.

Film looked great and overall I really enjoyed the film. Reminded me a lot of Troma films, minus the sex stuff. Plenty of over the top gore and crude jokes. The little girl did get a little annoying at times, but overall a solid flick.
