I got the Imprint copy. The film is definitely a must for Friedkin fans. I have no interest in the NBA, it is just satisfying how he shoots and stages his films, no matter what they are.

Blind bought the BD for $6.99 and it was terrific. I really enjoyed Nolte's performance. I think I cackled out loud when he kicked the basketball - that was hilarious.

Blue Chips was the first Friedkin film I saw back when I was a kid. I was a basketball/NBA fan and loved Shaq and Penny; although I'm glad the Rockets swept them in '95. The movie holds up and is infinitely re-watchable.

Wow, grabbed it at that price as well. Haven't seen it since I saw it in theaters. Thanks for the heads up.
