Actually, Len Wiseman directed Live Free or Die Hard as well as Total Recall - both after Underworld Evolution.

But I agree about Speedman. I feel like he probably chose not to come back.

Kind of makes you wonder what the films from Awakening and on would have been like had he stayed.

Still would have been nice if he actually was in Awakening and had some actual dialogue. haha

Awakening almost pulled an Alien 3 with Michael, but saved it in the end by saying he's still alive. haha

I meant he didn't direct any more Underworld movies. In fact, in the supplements on Rise of the Lycans it explains that he didn't direct that one because he was exhausted after doing Die Hard 4. He did co-write Awakening but didn't have any input on the last one aside from being one of the half-dozen producers.

I'm waiting on Bull Moose to list it; They usually beat Amazon's price by a substantial margin on the more expensive 4K movies/sets (plus Amazon has had a very bad habit of not having the product in stock lately on pre-ordered movies when they actually come out). I'll cancel Amazon and use Bull Moose if/when it becomes available.

Funny - I think most people feel that Underworld's use of practical effects puts to shame most CG films of that era and now that even try to depict werewolves or any fantasy/horror creatures. But hey, to each their own...
