How long does GNV ship after an order is placed? I know Justin was dealing with Indiegogo orders and the holidays, but I placed an order 3 weeks ago. Just curious is all.

I placed an order Dec. 26th and was wondering the same thing. Of course, I haven’t been waiting long at all, not nearly as long as you have at any rate; just curious, and so hot to get The Thrilling Bloody Sword!

I stopped shipping on December 19th and got back to it on January 2. If you made an order that doesn't include METAL DETECTOR MANIAC, it should have shipped by now.

If you haven't received a confirmation e-mail about your order, contact me at goldninjavideo@gmail.com

You weren't a pest at all! I know the pain of "WHERE IS MY DISC!?" especially if you see other people getting their disc and enjoying it.

I’m kinda surprised this crazy awesome unexpected unprecedented release of THE THRILLING BLOODY SWORD didn’t generate more interest — by all rights it shoulda sold out instantly, but selfishly I’m sure glad it didn’t!

I absolutely can’t wait to watch this in full for the first time — I’ve only seen rotten quality clips this far. Kudos to you, Justin, for this divine labor of love! I hope you can track down a film print of Kung Fu Zombie!

I've been very happy with the response to the disc, but I was kinda hoping it would be an instant sell-out. Real close though! By the end of the month, THRILLING will be gone. I appreciate everyone who has spread the word in whichever way they can.

What other Blus are low in stock, if you don’t mind me asking?

I've been pretty lazy around the holiday season with everything else but now there's one less copy (along with one less copy of several others I've been dragging my feet on).

Might be good to somehow program a counter when there are 50 copies or less available to kickstart FOMO.

RIVERBEAST is down to sub-20s, MANGOSHAKE is under a 100, and KUNG FU WONDER CHILD is sub 100.

Watched TBS with a friend. Despite the slower pace and not so great fights, the movie being as bonkers as it was still made it a lot of fun.

These releases have been endless fun for us the past year or so, really looking forward to what you guys cook up next!

My copy of THRILLING BLOODY SWORD just arrived today. Excellent scan of a 35mm print that’s got some nicks and scratches and vertical lines, but also gorgeous colors and good detail, and surprisingly legible burned-in subtitles. An authentic drive-in experience, which absolutely befits the film, which is non-stop jaw-dropping insanity! A legit cult item, the nightmarish love child of Snow White and Inframan — one of the best nutball film experiences you could ever hope for. And I didn’t realize Venom Mobster Chiang Sheng was in this! Love that guy! Also, the thoughtful video extras produced by Justin Decloux are extremely informative and most appreciated; loved his intro, his writer/director retrospective, his guide to Taiwanese psychotronic cinema, his interview with Jessica Tseang, and especially his crackerjack audio commentary with Tars, an additional film-length entertainment and genre film lesson in itself. And there’s even an illustrated liner notes booklet! CRAZY, I tell ya! Took a quick flip-through look at the bonus feature (Incredible Kung Fu Mission) — didn’t look nearly as interesting as the main feature, but I guess that would be a pretty tall order; I’ll probably give it another go sometime, and it was awfully swell of Gold Ninja to include it. Love the cover art too. Just an excellent job all around. I’m sooooooo glad I was lucky enough to snag one of these!

Thank you so much for this labour of love, Justin, and I hope you have a couple more 35mm scans of obscure cult items in the pipeline!

By the by, I had the powers-that-be add THRILLING BLOODY SWORD to the MyMovies app, in case any of the other lucky 800 use this app too

I know Ed Glaser (@Neon_Harbor) owns a print of Turkish Star Wars and has done a scan of it, but that's one that legally is a pure impossibility, yet it may mean there's still hope for others!
Would be so amazing to get more Turkish titles !! Anyway im late to the Death Warrior party ! Will there be a repress of this at any point ? As a Turk it hurts that I missed it !!

Keep up the amazing work !! PS are there any specific Turkish titles you are looking for ?

Justin, any chance more copies of Thrilling Bloody Sword will be produced?
Also, for that matter Creature from Black Lake as well?
