There was about 15 minutes of deleted/extended scenes so my guess is the new cut will be around 8-10 min longer?

Oh wow, did not expect this to be from Scream Factory. Wonderful!
I'm usually against these bad new cover art by Scream but in this case, even thought it does the same as all the other cover art (shows every characters and scenes crammed in one poster), it works beautifully. I love it!
Like most here, I try to watch this every year around Christmas, a perfect little Christmas movie with outstanding creature designs.

I never watched the deleted scenes on the bluray, was there extended gore or anything R-rated? The description specifically says things that were cut due to the MPAA, so do we think we're getting some prior-unseen gore footage?

Shout suck. $36.99 PLUS $10.00 to ship a blu ray? (when we all know that costs about $3).
This is all for a 2015 catalog title and not even a steelbook.
Price gouging at its worst.

I thought this was going to be a release from Universal. I think I like the cover art with a hand holding a snow globe more than this one.

I preordered my copy. I really like the new art, but prefer the one with Krampus, on the roof of the house.

Agree, that poster is fantastic. Maybe it'll be on the reversible cover? It would be such a nice change from the snow globe one we see everywhere!

That's why I bought this German steelbook.

And that's where I will store this new 4K disc.

Is there a reason to pay $36 buying it direct or is it always better to just wait for BB/Amazon to likely drop it to like $27 or $28? Just preordered this and Halloween III and then noticed H3 is much cheaper on Amazon/BB
