Has anyone had a chance to view the film in DV on Itunes?

Has anyone compared this disc to the Australian BD, which I have? Is it worth the double-dip when you already have it in AVC & TrueHD, as opposed to the previous U.S. BD (MPEG-2 & DD)?

I hope that the mono track sounds good and not slathered with hiss reduction
The mono is Dolby Digital lossy, but, even though I couldn't listen at reference (too late), it sounded pretty good and didn't seem to be over clipped on the high end. I'll be able to give it a better listen this weekend.
It looks fantastic. I did notice a bit of stutter, like a frame rate issue, early in the film when Keaton is walking across a large room. I want to compare that scene with the old Blu.

Took a quick look tonight (about 15 minutes in the first half). It’s beautiful, which makes me all the more miffed that Paramount didn’t see fit to issue a UHD disc for this.

Check out the shot of Keaton on the beach, sitting on the chunk of timber at about the 44:00+ mark, exquisite!

Anyone know if this is region free? Heaven Can Wait doesn't appear to be and this shouldn't be either, considering Reds was a Paramount release the world over.

Did anybody else not receive a printed sheet with a digital copy code for this? It’s supposed to have a code, but it doesn’t seem to be anywhere on the package itself.

Well..finally got around to watching Reds last night and the transfer really wowed me. It had been several years since I'd viewed the film and had forgotten what a beautifully shot work it is. Still have an ear to ear grin plastered on my face.

Not crazy about the new 5.1 mix, but I'll give the 2.0 a shot on my next watch. The movie has been a personal favorite since I 1st saw it 25+ years ago and it's great to own it on this format looking so spectacular.

Diane Keaton back in the day..wow what a force. Could more than hold her own against any leading man you put her on camera with.

I just cracked mine open-ordered from Amazon, as well.

No digital code. Hmm.

I play all my digital content through a Roku, and wasn’t aware the Apple TV app was available for it. I’d love to have access to the 4K stream of this.

I’ll reach out to Paramount, and see if I can get info on issuing codes to those of us that didn’t receive them. They have to be aware of the problem.

By the way, I’m thrilled the color timing is corrected.

For anyone who picked this up, and didn't get their digital copy, go to the Paramount Digital Copy Support page, and review option #5.

At the bottom of that page, there's a "submit a request" button. Select "code missing or lost", and provide them with pictures of your receipt, and the front and back of the packaging. I took a screenshot of my Amazon receipt with my phone, and two pictures, and attached them to the request.

I submitted the request Tuesday evening. Less that 24 hours later, I had the code, which I successfully redeemed on Vudu.

Did the film stutter mentioned happen on the old Blu as well?

Finally watched my copy last night and my goodness- what a transfer! Perfectly rendered grain structure, sumptuous color depth, and exquisite black levels throughout. It’s so good, in fact, that to not release this 10/10 restoration on physical UHD would be an absolute crime.

Paramount home video is truly in the middle of a blu-ray renaissance right now and I couldn’t be happier as the catalog titles continue to roll in.

Why the hell did they have to devalue my original release?

Watched the first half this weekend. Except for that weird stuttering in one scene, it looked fantastic. Felt like I was watching a print. Color timing is glorious and rich.
