On a much happier note, McCoy Season One was just delivered! So, I plan on continuing my Doctor Who archive later tonight.

I was actually surprised it materialized on my front step

I pre-ordered it last Jan/Feb. Yesterday, the Star Trek 4K set (original) arrived via Best Buy. Good times for the classics

Giving my opinion of the content of the posts about Dr Who in this thread. I doubt anyone would disagree that the particular monster effect in that episode was very poor.

The sequences of the Drashigs bursting out of the ground accompanied by their unique screams are excellent. The scenes of them crawling through the miniscope...less so. But overall I think they were well-realized.

Yeah. It's a pity they didn't construct a model that they could hold focus on and blend in better with the backgrounds and foreground action.
